FleetIQ · Trial day

Everything is on-device. No laptop needed to get a node running - just the node, its USB power, and your phone.

Per node (about a minute each)

1. Power the Core2 (USB-C to a power bank / vehicle USB). It boots and looks for known WiFi.
2. It won't find the test hotspot, so after a few seconds it shows the MSV · SETUP screen with a QR code.
3. Scan that QR with your phone camera. Your phone will offer to join a WiFi network (MSV-setup…, pass msvsetup1) - that's expected, tap Join/Connect. It is not meant to open a page yet.
4. Once joined, the setup page should pop up on its own (iOS: a sheet slides up; Android: a "sign in to network" notice - tap it). If no page appears in ~10 s, open your browser and go to http://192.168.4.1 - that's the node's setup page.
5. The setup page has two sections - "Above-ground WiFi" and "Tunnel WiFi". Fill in both networks (name + password, or paste each WiFi QR text WIFI:S:…;P:…;;), then tap save. The node connects to whichever is in range and switches between them automatically as it moves through the portal. It remembers both next time. Only have one network on site today? Fill just that section - you can add the other later by re-entering setup (hold BtnA at power-on).

What "good" looks like

In the dashboard, open the asset (e.g. MSV-01) and check:

If a node won't come up

Nodes on the fleet: MSV-01 … MSV-06. All run the same firmware; each streams under its own ID.
