FleetIQ · Sensor WiFi provisioning

Set the site's WiFi once here, generate the flash config, and bake it into a node with a local USB flash. A node holds both networks and switches between them as it moves (above-ground ↔ tunnel).

Each physical unit needs a unique Asset ID / Node ID. The WiFi networks are the same across the site.

Flash it locally

    

      1. Save the file above into firmware/secrets.local.ini (overwrite the existing one).

      2. Plug the Core2 in over USB and run pio run --target upload from the firmware/ folder.

      3. On first boot the node bakes both networks into flash and connects to whichever is in range — no on-device QR setup needed.
